|
7. Why am I getting false alerts?
If you are getting false alerts (emails or text messages that say that your locator

that your locator is outside with a clear view of the sky.
|
8. What makes my battery drain quickly?
If you find the battery on your CatchAThiefGPS locator is draining too quickly,
try increasing the check interval. Also, make sure that your device is outdoors
with a clear view of the sky (if it’s kept indoors or in an area where it has to
strain to get a connection, it will drain the battery faster). If the locator moves
a lot or track mode is used frequently, it can also drain the battery.
